I am wondering whether the 'a' in this sentence could be an error. I notice that it generally does not appear in other questions formed with interrogative pro-adverbs like nuqDaq, chay' or ghorgh.

Compare with the other sentences in the unit: ghorgh manargh, chay' chobIj or even qatlh DaHoH, none of which have an 'a'.

You're right; this is a WH question, not a yes–no question, and the -'a' suffix should not be there.

I've "removed" this sentence and added a corrected version.

Thanks for spotting the mistake!
