fijn vs. fijne

Hi, I wanted to know why is it sometimes "fijn" (fijn weekend) and sometimes "fijne" (fijne dag). Dank je wel :)

Because weekend is een het-noun and dag is een de-noun.

An adjective before a noun always has the ending -e, except if it precedes a singular het-noun used with een. This also applies if there is no article at all.
