A few songs in Spanish to grow your vocabulary

A few days ago I shared some of my favourite Spanish TV series, and your kind comments made me think I should do this more often.

Today I'll share a handful of songs, and I hope you find them useful... I am Spanish, so most of the songs are from Spanish singer-songwriters / groups, though there are also a few Colombian and Mexican artists that I love. The links will take you to a blog where you will find the video and the lyrics. You will find most of the songs in other platforms (Spotify, YouTube, etc), but I can't provide links for all of them.

Thanks - just enjoyed listening to 3 songs - having the lyrics there was very helpful!

I'm glad that you found it helpful!

and don't forget "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi :)

I like "Despacito", though I don't think it is as interesting for someone learning Spanish as the ones I mentioned...

It's totally interesting, but probably difficult because it's so fast and has lots of puertorriqueño argot.

When I was in high school, our teacher had us listen to "Eres tú" by Juan Carlos Calderón. Nice and slow. Easy to understand.

here's one version with lyrics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOFeLI84mu0

Lo que siento - Cuco is really nice. It's a mix of Spanish and English and helped me learn a bit of Spanish.

I haven't heard "Lo que siento"... Most of the lyrics is in English, though it can be of help. Thanks for mentioning it!
