Playing Spanish video games

I learned English through video games when I was a kid, now I learn Spanish as an adult; Here is my most favorite game: Scribblenauts for DS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVPfxstvzK0

I also play EPIC MIKEY on Wii in Spanish, thanks to google translate that I can get the quests and puzzles. I write down the vocabulary and look at them when I am off screen. It works well and feels fuuuuuuun! Any other Spanish video games or movies you can suggest?!

THANKS

I play Pocket Camp in Spanish, it has so much great dialogue! I should also start writting down the new vocab I come across as I play, great idea!

I play Bomberman almost forgot that, you have to understand the dialog otherwise you can't solve the puzzle! Darn it seems not available for DS :( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX3wxl10qeo&t=28s

That does sound like a great learning game! I actually don’t have a ds or any gaming system, so all the games I play are actually apps.. I suppose. I always look in the appstore and check the language settings on any free games that look interesting before downloading them and then try them out.

Any classic PS2 game and many PS1 on games had french and spanish for me growing up. I played Jak Daxter: Precursor Legacy to 100% in Spanish when I was in primary school! so many are coming back now... I'd say tapping into the nostalgia and remembering the game in your native language is key. Here were some of my favourites: i think they should all have spanish in the US versions.

Pokémon (foreign cartridge or newer games), GTA IV, Zelda Windwaker, Mario Sunshine, Ratchet and Clank, Jak I-II-III, Sly Cooper, Starwars Battlefront, Splinter Cell, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger (Xbox). and so many more

I also watched all the spidermans and lotrs in spanish

I play wow skyrim and a few other games in spanish wow is very good because they got everything in that game but the problem is that the game is not beginner friendly so if your spanish is bad it will be too "difficult" (most of the game is easy but there is a lot of stuff beginners don't know about that you will need if you wan't do do harder stuff)

I was surprised to see how many games are translated into spanish there are also a few retro games that are only available in spanish.
