Crown system

Hello! This new crown system is very inconvenient? How do I track which lessons I need to repeat? All beginner levels are now shown as incomplete and I feel uncomfortable about it, but don't want to complete them again. Why can't my previous progress be taken into account? Why did Duolingo have to change the working system? Or why couldn't they at least combine the two?

Follow this link to see which of your skills need strengthening:

Duolingo itself does not show the "decay" of skills anymore. Instead, it creates the false impression that you are actually "done" with a skill once you reach its maximum crown level. Crown levels don't decrease over time - no matter how well you did achieving that level and regardless of whether you pratice the skill afterwards again or not. That copncept, of course, has nothing to do with the realities of language learning.

The whole change to crowns was just a big blunder. I can't understand the people raving about the new system. Kind of reminds me of the story about the emperor's new clothes.

Hey!

Now each skill has 5 levels:

I personally got my skills both at level 2-3 after the change.

Here you can read more about it.
However for me its not loading yet (maybe because of the lot of comments)..
