"El maestro siempre da muchos ejemplos."
Translation:The teacher always gives a lot of examples.
"The teacher always gives many examples" was not accepted. Reported 4/25/18
The "us" is not optional; it is just plain wrong. The sentence is not "El maestro siempre nos da muchos ejemplos." We might not even be his students, but he still gives the examples. Reported again 21 May 2018.
Hi! Same problem. Reported 4/27/18 Duo has been tidying up reported Spanish sentences quite a bit lately, thanks Duo!
It still doesn't accept it without the 'us', but if they wanted it like that, shouldn't it have been 'danos' or 'nos da' ?
@MasterYods, yes; their sentence is wrong. Should be something with "nos".
I reported it too. If you type "The teacher always gives many examples" it is marked wrong, and you are told "The teacher always gives us many examples." is correct. If you use the word bank, then the word "us" isn't an option! The correct answer in the word bank is "The teacher always give us a lot of examples." I think they will fix this one soon.
