Top 2000 words in Greek by frequency

I have just finished an overhaul of a Memrise course I created some time ago containing the most commonly used 2000 words in Greek.*

I have refined the definitions of vocabulary, improved disambiguation and generally polished up inconsistencies in the course.

You can find it here: https://www.memrise.com/course/426582/top-2000-words-in-greek

I find Memrise to be a perfect complement to Duolingo – while Duo is a superior platform for practising grammar, Memrise is incredibly effective for memorising vocab in the long-term.

I am hoping to expand the course in the coming months to encompass 3000+ words. Give it a try and see what you think!

*The course is based on subtitle files, so it is not an exact science. See here for more info: https://community.memrise.com/t/course-forum-top-2000-words-in-modern-greek-by-silentshuffle/8029

That's a great effort! Kudos!
I bumped into a mistake though. The milk must be "το γάλα" instead of "η".
If you need help with the audio or proof-reading I volunteer. I'm a native speaker. I'm also an editor on Forvo, you can find me (and listen to my voice) here: https://forvo.com/user/jpapa/

Good spot! Now corrected. That'd be amazing if you're able to do some proofreading/audio recording! A Greek friend recorded the first 300 words, but we never managed to complete the course. I have a Forvo account myself - if I can remember the log-in details, I'll message you directly!
