Why not "on the other side"?

I’m confused. The dictionary hints for “l’autre rive” is “the other side”, so how is my answer (“I see it on the other side”) wrong?

'On the other side' was rejected in this exercise, but accepted in the previous one. Inconsistent.

The main hint was 'the other side' so how can this be wrong?
