Has anyone else started dreaming in French?

Last night I had my first dream about/in French. Dream me was practicing my genders and conjugations. Weirdest thing ever. Has anyone else had dreams like this?

When I started having an advanced English level I thought I was dreaming in English, but I wasn't sure, until my brother told me "you speak asleep and you do it in English". It was the craziest thing it happened to me. After, I learned French, but I don't speak it too good so the dreams I had in French were just with few sentences and mixed with English or my native tongue.

That's so interesting! Does it happen when you're fluent or?...

I've had one dream I can recall about myself ordering a huge breakfast in a café somewhere in France, with French :)

Hey, that's amazing, i study english and i never dreamt in english, but i would love. Dreaming means that some parts of the french language are in your unconscious, it is more than good :) I am interesting about foreign languages learning and I have a blog on the French language where i wrote 2 articles about learning a language and sleeping (not about dreaming ):) https://fastfrenchlearning.ch/how-to-use-sleep-to-improve-learning/ and https://fastfrenchlearning.ch/use-the-stages-of-sleep-to-learn-more-effectively/

I would dream in French quite a bit when I was studying French WAY back in high school. Now that I've picked it up again in Duolingo, I noticed that French occasionally creeps into my dreams.

I have dreamed in French off and on my whole life, but exclusively in French for years now. What I find really interesting is that most of the time I don't notice if I am reading in French or in English. It makes it a real pain, though, when I try to go search again for something I read. I am always trying to remember which language I read it in, and I often don't know. It also messes me up sometimes with the questions here because I forget which language I am working on.

I have had dreams in French for years. The most recent one was me trying to explain to someone (in French) that the edition of the game "Guess Who?" that I had growing up only had one black person on it... I don't know why.

I would be wary of this phenomenon. I had friends at university who were proud of dreaming in French, but I've long had dreams in French and before I had many lessons or started DuoLingo, because I have a French partner and family, so I'm exposed to French a lot but I'm still only a beginner really...

I feel like I’ve had dreams of just speaking to people in Norwegian, since I’ve never held an actual conversation in it.
