The English translation should be "(glutinous) rice balls" instead.
汤圆 is a soup dumpling
if i asked for a 'glutinous rice ball' in any country nobody would know what the heck i was asking for
Soup dumpling sounds like xiaolongbao or normal dumplings in soup. "Glutinous rice balls" is the English name I typically see on packaging. That said, I usually just call them "tangyuan" because the English name is a mouthful.
汤圆 themselves are also a mouthful.
He ate 30 sticky rice balls was marked wrong. Sticky rice is glutinous rice
tangyuan are also accepted
Who eats that many anyways?
He ate 30 pieces of glutinous rice balls... Why is it wrong?
