"Do you recognize your neighbor?" should be accepted.
That's more of 认得出 or 认出 with an optional 能 in front.
Neighbors should be ok too.
In the uk we say neighbour
How would we say "do you know your neighbours" (plural)?
why isn't "Do you recognize your neighbor?"
认识 can also be recognize too. as a Chinese myself, learning Mandarin is also confusing
