Did any one else just lose their streak unfairly?

I've been doing more than enough exercises every day, but just lost my streak when the colors were changed on the levels. I had bought Streak Freeze just in case, but was still doing exercises within the time limits.

    I have no idea no why you lost your streak but there seems to be an error of correlation/causation there.

    yeah i don't think it has anything to do with what you were doing at the time, because nobody else has experienced it! but if you met your goal every day then that's a big issue and you should probably email duolingo staff about it. you might be able to find their email in FAQ or the help page :-)

    Okay, I've had a night's sleep over this and I realize I might have missed the time deadline earlier in the week, so did not have my Streak Freeze anymore. I did not know you had to keep buying Streak Freeze every time it is used. Now I know. Oh, well, I was getting close to 500, but the main thing is to learn the languages. Thanks for the comments.
