Is anyone here from Ireland?

Do you live in Ireland? I want to set up a group for young people to meet up in person and chat in Esperanto. All levels welcome, even complete beginners.

Why not offer to host a Duolingo event?

Yes I've offered to do that, so now I need to find people who will come.

You can do one thing. On your smartphone, get the Duolingo App, and in that create a club titled something like "Irish Club", something like that. In the description, you may request only Irish people to join.

Then, when members join (Be patient, someone will come), you can introduce yourselves and your meeting plans.

Many Duolingo Users are on App, so you might find a better response there.

[And, sorry I am not Irish]

I set up a club months ago, maybe even a year ago. So far, no one else has joined.

I admire your patience!
Well then. Good Luck for finding target people.

I'm Irish. That sounds like a great idea! I don't live in Ireland anymore but I'm home quite frequently. If you get something up and running I'll try to attend whenever possible.

That's great, send me a message when you're around.

Great - I was sad there was no Irish group at the Brita kaj Tutkelta Kongreso last month, lots of Welsh and a big group of Breton people, but no Irish

How was the event? I really wanted to go, but unfortunately my cousin's wedding was the same day.
