Isn't like an acceptable translation? I thought love was only milovat.

For people "mít rád" mostly means "to love". It might be acceptable as well, it just makes somewhat less sense if it is only about liking.

There is no 1:1 map between mít rád/milovat and like/love. English uses "to love" more than Czech uses "milovat".

How about "Love her like I do"?

It is acceptable.

The literal translation of this is "Have -for her- so much love as I do"? Otherwise what would it be?

No, it isn't. You cannot translate the Czech "mít rád" as individual words if your target language does not have such a construction. "mít rád" = "to love" or "to like".
