Computer verses duolingo app on phone.

For those who use both their duolingo phone app as well as their computer to do lessons, which do you prefer and why? I just recently downloaded the duolingo app and it seems like it is easier to move up levels using it, but you have to deal with advertisement.

pretty much the same but in the desktop version you can turn on 'Keyboard only' option which I find helps with memorization

I find that I can choose either keyboard only or the word tile option on my phone.

On my smart phone I get a mixture of both tiles and keyboard in one activity.

I enjoy using my phone to learn. It just seems more intimate, and I move much more quickly. However, I miss the word count feature on languages where that is available on the computer. I also tend to have more audio problems when using my phone.

Personally I like learning on the computer...why? -Full Keyboard, I type much faster -No 5 mistake limit like the iPhone has and since the IOS version no longer has the bots, portability is the only thing that version has to off

I like the computer for reasons that have less to do with the app and more to do with screen space - It's much easier to have a youtube video on how to pronounce a thing playing next to the module notes, and things like a spreadsheet or dictionary tab open too. More monitors = more win.

Phone is great for quick and on-the-go review.
