German Stories - gender of the nouns

Would be so awesome if you just showed the gender of the nouns (M, F, N) in german stories and across Duolingo lessons. Just add one letter to each noun. Is this so diffficult? So many people have suggested and requested it when the new Crowns system was implemented. This is something that you used to have in lessons, and for some inexplicable reason, someone from DL decided to get rid of displaying the gender. What a poor decision that was, which is only making it harder for people to learn the nouns correctly. I suggested this a lot of times when, at the end of some stories, I was asked what could be improved in my opinion. I am sure many people did the same, but to no avail.

Yes! in some books they use (-r), (-e) and (-s) to denote the gender of a Noun. Would really come in handy!

Yes, this is also a common practice. I agree, either one would work.

Agreed, this has been asked for for years and would really improve the quality of the language learning.
