Carptoon says goodbye ...
... with gratitude.
It has been the source of pleasure having taken the lessons and reading the discussion posts. I was involved with other computer listserve-like groups, Duolingo it the only one left.
Most of my interests involved communicating with people and/or machines. I posted on and even ran lists on educational psychology, learning, and visual communications.
If anyone is interested in an old illustrated paper of mine you can search "scholarly comics" on ERIC.ED.GOV , a free distribution service of scholarly papers provided by the US government through top US Universities.
For reasons of age and health, I am no longer able to retain much of even the simplest lessons from one day to the next.
If this changes ... well I don't know what to say. I'll be inactive for a while but not actually quit.
Thank you and Goodbye
Wherever you go, may the road rise to meet your feet, may life be good to you. Farewell :)
I hope that someday I can exit as elegantly. Good fortune in your future endeavors.
Thank you, Ken. After looking through your article, I now have some new ideas for teaching my summer course. Peace be with you!
y lo digo "heartfully," con corazón: ¡La paz sea contigo por el camino entero! We believe in the possibility of 'being well' even when we're not well!
