Speed of audio

I understand there is no turtle button option for Hebrew course. However I do believe the audio is way to fast for a learners. Most of the cases, I should know every word of that sentence, but due to the speed I always left some preposition words in between... Any possibility to get this improved?

There're lots of days where I wish that they had a slower version too. It's the drawback of a course where there's no good text-to-speech engine available (they do look hard for them when creating the courses), and they have to resort to having the samples actually recorded by humans.

OTOH, it's also good practice for real-world intonation of the spoken language.

I agree it is good practice, we have to learn sometime. Better than listening to a radio station lol they talk so fast! Also, it is possible to add in the right words simply because you know the correct grammar, although not foolproof of course.

If I could make a better suggestion (especially for beginners trying to get the feel for 'real' spoken Hebrew) - Israeli TV. A lot of shows are subtitled in Hebrew (yes, even when Hebrew's being spoken) and you can follow along more easily at times.

Reshet (, Channel 10 (, and Kan ( all broadcast online for free. I've seen shows subtitled on all of them.

I thought that if you press ctrl+shift+space that it plays slower. At least on a PC it does.

I'm enjoying the Hebrew course, but I was wondering if there is a recording option in this course at all -- to check our pronunciation? I'm only up to the third checkpoint.

Unfortunately, no.
