Can someone help me correct my sentences in Konjunktiv I?

These following sentences are in indicative (some of them are in the active voice):

  1. Der Hund wird gestreichelt werden.
  2. Ich werde den Hund streicheln.
  3. Der Hund muss/soll/(whatever) gestreichelt werden.
  4. Ich muss/soll/(whatever) den Hund streicheln.
  5. Der Hund wird gestreichelt worden sein.
  6. Ich werde den Hund gestreichelt haben.

I tried to convert all of those sentences sequentially into Konjunktiv I Gegenwart, Vergangenheit and Futur II:

Gegenwart/Präsens: (Er sagte,)
1. Der Hund werde gestreichelt werden.
2. Er werde den Hund streicheln.
3. Der Hund müsse gestreichelt werden.
4. Er müsse den Hund streicheln.
5. Der Hund werde gestreichelt worden sein. *
6. Er werde den Hund gestreichelt haben.

Vergangenheit/Perfekt: (Er sagte,)
1. Der Hund sei gestreichelt werden worden.
2. Er habe den Hund streicheln werden.
3. Der Hund sei gestreichelt werden müssen.
4. Er habe den Hund streicheln müssen.
5. Der Hund sei gestreichelt worden werden sein.*
6. Er habe den Hund gestreichelt haben werden. *

Futur II: (Er sagte,)
1. Der Hund werde gestreichelt werden sein.
2. Er werde den Hund gestreichelt werden haben.
3. Der Hund werde gestreichelt werden müssen.
4. Er werde den Hund gestreichelt haben müssen.
5. Der Hund werde gestreichelt haben worden werden sein.
6. Er werde den Hund gestreichelt haben worden.

I'm really sorry for inserting a lot of numbers here that you guys have to check, but I have thought of how to convert indicative forms to Konjunktiv I (in passive) for hours and I somehow couldn't figure it out again. (Note: This isn't a homework. I intentionally did this.)

I put a * at the end of some sentences (some of them are in italic) because I totally doubt that those sentences are correct so that it can save your time checking all those sentences.

Thanks

Okay, I start with your present tense examples.

  1. Der Hund werde gestreichelt.

  2. correct

  3. correct

  4. correct

  5. Der Hund werde gestreichelt. ( the sentence you wanted changed isn't present tense and your suggested solution would be future 2)

  6. Er werde den Hund streicheln. ( like number five you used future 2)

Now to the past tense:

  1. Der Hund sei gestreichelt worden.

  2. Er habe den Hund gestreichelt.

  3. Der Hund musste gestreichelt werden.

  4. Er habe den Hund streicheln müssen.

  5. Der Hund sei gestreichelt worden.

  6. Er habe den Hund gestreichelt.

Here are the future 2 sentences:

  1. Der Hund werde gestreichelt worden sein.

  2. Er werde den Hund gestreichelt haben.

  3. correct

  4. correct

  5. Der Hund werde gestreichelt worden sein.

  6. Er werde den Hund gestreichelt haben.

I hope, this helped to clear some things up. The sentences you wanted to have converted into different tenses are already in future 1 (number 1 and 2), in present (3 and 4 ) and future 2 ( 5 and 6). However, you wanted to have them in conjunctive 1 forms in particular cases and then I had to adapt them.

Past tense sentence number 3: in order to be Konjunktiv, it is 'müsste', not 'musste'. So sentence number 3 should read: 3. Der Hund müsste gestreichelt werden.

I took a look again at my book and "müsste" would mean something like "The dog should be... " which wouldn't be right here. Mhm, maybe I can find another site where your answer would be right.. I am searching for it.

Why not Der Hund sei gestreichelt werden müssen? I can't find müsste in Konjunktiv I conjugation table.

It is not Konjunktiv I, but Konjunktiv II. So I was wrong as you were asking for Konjunktiv I.

May I know how did you adapt the sentences?

On Gegenwart no.1, why isn't it "Der Hund werde gestreichelt werden," instead? Does "Der Hund werde gestreichelt," belong to "Der Hund wird gestreichelt,"(indicative form)?

Please take a look at this page.. It may help you to understand better how to form the cunjunctive 1.

"I can't find müsste in Konjunktiv 1 conjugation table" , that is because there isn't any.

"On Gegenwart no. 1, why isn't it " Der Hund werde gestreichelt werden" instead?" Well, if you use the form of "werden" twice you change it into future.

"Der Hund wird gestreichelt." Yes, the indicative form is "Der Hund werde gestreichelt."

If there isn't 'müsste' in Konjunktiv I, then why using it in the Konjunktiv I Vergangenheit? Shouldn't it be "Der Hund sei gestreichelt werden müssen,"?

There is no "müsste in the Konjunktiv 1 past tense. I have written "musste. There is a small difference in the use of both words. ;-))

"Der Hund sei gestreichelt werden müssen," does not exist. It combines the auxilary 'sei', which is used (besides other usages) to form Vergangenheit/perfect tense with 'werden' which is used (besides other usages) to form future tense.

Indikativ (Passiv): Der Hund wird gesreichelt. Konjunktiv : Der Hund werde gesteichelt.
