Hi all, is there any news about the next version of the tree? When it's going to be released? It's current status? and so on.

Unfortunately there won't be a next version of the three because there are no active Turkish moderators, neither course mod nor forum mod, for the time being.

I am sorry, but I focus on the GE from TR course - I am German- and I have little time for anything else, having a real life, too. But that's a bit more than "no one".

Oh hi Steffi, I am the ex-contributor Mete who invited you to the team, you may remember me maybe. Even if you don't, I am happy to see you being better at Turkish now and still have the faith that you will be much better soon! :) I didn't mean you by the fact that there is no any Turkish moderator for the time being. You are a helpful and great-hearted person. I remember me requesting you to be a forum moderator at the first by trusting in you being helpful and having the faith that you would be much better at Turkish one day. And I see you're now much closer to that situation than you have been before. Despite the fact that you are much better now, it's still very hard for you to contribute to the Turkish-English courses without wavering. And since your native language is German, it's much better for you to focus on that course since you can focus there much more easily, and since that course needs improving much more than the English-Turkish courses. Though you are a lonely contributor on the Turkish community, no worries I understand your concern; I was alone too while preparing the Russian course for months besides taking care of Turkish-English courses' and communities' discussions and questions. More power to your elbow.

And I know you are still active of course, but the situation is as I said the main reason why I didn't count you as a "Turkish" contributor. By the way, it's sad to think about the possible scenario that you blocked me. I can't seem to follow you. I hope it's not so.

I do remember :-) and I got very sad when I saw that you do no longer contribute. And that after all what you did especially for the RU from TR course!

Another year of learning has passed, I hope that my skills improved accordingly ;)

No, it should have been possible. I was on your friends list all the time. And I just got a new follower email.
Why should I block you?

I liked the Turkish course but it is one of the shortest trees here. I hope a new version will be released one day. But it seems there are very few contributors right now. I've seen that Selcen Öztürk left some time ago. Is it likely that she will come back? She was one of the main contributors here. What about Ektoraskan?

Contributing is a tough and time consuming thing and everyone has a life apart from Duo, so it is natural to move on at some point. Or at least to take a break.
Maybe the same is true for us learners to when the tree is finished and all crowns achieved. Time to look for other resources, to put into practice what we have learned :) Maybe you'll find some ideas here: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/27444075
I personally am still working on the forth crown level and use some grammar and course books and other materials, too.

For me a good option is German from Turkish. I currently live in Vienna so I mostly focus on German. But by doing German from Turkish tree I can practice both languages. Are you involved in that course?

He's an Arabic global moderator, not a Turkish contributor.
