"Luistert de jeugd naar deze muziek?"
Translation:Do the youth listen to this music?
shouldn't "does the youth listen to this music" also be a correct option? I chose "do the young listen to this music" and it was wrong. I think all options should be counted as correct, no?
If it was a multiple choice you probably should have selected all correct answers.
Is "de jeugd" referring collectively to the younger generation (as in "the youth of today are more technically adept") or to an individual young male?
Bab.la seems to suggest that "de jeugd" is a collective term for the younger generation and an individual young male would be "de jongeling" - but I have been caught out previously by this particular dictionary! Any native speakers or moderators able to clarify?
