Changes in the Spanish course

[deactivated user]

The Spanish course was light on grammar and the recent changes has reduced what little instruction there was on this important aspect of learning a new language.

I know that doulingo alone can not make you fluent in a language. But the changes have made it more about vocabulary and rote responses which is what I found wrong in other language courses. This includes class room studies.

I don't have the new Spanish course yet... did they remove "Tips and Notes"?

There are 9 skills with "Tips and notes" in JT18eL's Spanish tree.
These "Tips and notes" are shown (click the light bulb) in

That's very helpful, pentaan, thank you!

I am still on the old Spanish tree and I have 13 "Tips and Notes" icons. So while that's only 4 more, it's also almost half again as many as JT18eL has.

The French(English) course is jam packed with Tips and Notes. It has spoiled me. I can see why having them removed would be upsetting. I just counted the ones in my French course - 55!! 57 if I count the ones in the bonus skills.
