Hello, Please advise how I can determine my fluency level in German? Before the Duolingo platform changed to the current format they used to display my fluency level based a a percentage. Sadly, this is no longer is this shown. Please advise. Thank you!

Fluency was broken and has been removed. But, the duome.eu website might now be helpful instead: https://www.duome.eu/Zimm77/progress

the old fluency meter was pointless, it in no ways pictured your true fluency with the language, I remember having 30% fluency with 10 basic lessons completed back when I first tried learning language, the old fluency was just some kind of tap in the back over exaggerating your progress to make you feel like you're progressing, the only real way to test it is by reading books/watch movies/play games/listen to musics/chat on german forums/vocal chats, or maybe even travel to germany, though we don't all have the funds for that(another choice would be doing a german proficiency test)

Please, if you want any degree of precision in assessing your real fluency level, take an independant test. There are many free to use on the Internet, for exemple on the DW site. Viel Glück!
