Ways to change Duolingo back to old learning Tree?

I have been learning Spanish for over 3 months, and I LOVED Duolingo because it started you off on the basics of a language and allowed you to practice and repeat the foundations of a language before building up your knowledge.

However Duolingo has changed and it now starts you off on "phrases" to do with travel and holidays... and it now no longer feels like I am learning to be fluent, but learning just to go on holidays which is not the purpose of Duolingo! Duolingo is to help people become genuinely fluent.

Does anybody know how you can change it back?

Duolingo never had the purpose of making you fluent, because you cannot become a fluent speaker in a language without practising to actually speak it. So all this does is give you a heavy amount of vocabulary centered on travel and every day things (shopping, school, interests etc.) All the stuff that was there before is still there, just moved back. Also, you can't change back. Duolingo is phasing out the old tree.
