"La vaca abrió las ventanas."
Translation:The cow opened the windows.
What is this? Animal Farm? First dancing cats, and now cows that open windows!
Were the Duo people drunk when they thought of these sentences? Or, are these normal topic conversations in Spanish speaking countries?
Well done that is hilarious. Perhaps I have taken this all too seriously! Thanks for making me smile
There is so much to learn about agriculture in mexico and this is not a good representation of learning vocabulary or the culture of farming. Infantile at best very dissapointing
It really is better to not take all that seriously. None of us never need say the Duolingo sentences exactly as presented. Instead, we can take the parts of the sentences and make our own sentences.
There is a lot of material online in both English and Spanish about farming for anyone who wishes to learn about it. We can use what we learn on Duolingo to read it and then take it from there. They can't teach us everything.
In addition, sentences of this kind appear in Spanish literature as personification, which can carry some pretty deep messages, so don't mock it too bad.
