But doesn't Horen mean "to hear"?
It is a seperable verb "aufhoren" meaning stop.
so.... when i hovered over the words it said "halten sie". but thats not the answer here..... help?
I'm interested in this too
Is this an expression? What does it mean literally?
I used halt es but wrong
I thought it would he balt
I mean *halt
Shouldn't "Hörst du auf!" be accepted as well?
I think for imperative (command form) it would be "Hör du auf" or just "Hör auf" in the informal.
