Duolingo Achievements *SUGGESTION*

Hello Duolingo community! I would like to suggest a suggestion: ACHIEVEMENTS! This way you can earn a "badge" or what ever you want to call it and some skill points maybe? any way so you can make it so you earn a badge when you do stuff like: FOR BEGINNERS Complete your first lesson. level up. Earn 500 coins. Beat the clock in timed practice Finish a lesson with all your lives! FOR NORMAL LEARNERS Get to level 20. Complete your skill tree. Finish a bonus skill Use a short-cut

Thanks if you add them and thanks for reading! -Brynnley yo out!

I was just thinking about this the other day! :) there can also be achievements for the streak length (10, 50, 100, 365! - imagine how hard people would have to work for that one! :)), achievements for the number or lessons finished in one day (week, month), for the number lingots earned in one day (week, month), amount of EXP earned in a day (week, month). the possibilities are endless!

This would bring out the MMO player in me in a way I'd enjoy. =)

Other sites devoted to teaching also do this (e.g. Khan Academy).

It's of course nothing big, but it would act as an extension to what the DuoStreak is at the moment. If you don't care about it you carry on, if you do you have an extra reason to trick your brain into practicing. I like it.
