Speaking spanish

My husband and I both recently started using duolingo. He is learning german and I am learning spanish. He gets multiple questions where he has to repeat a sentence in german, but I haven't gotten a single one of those yet. Does that feature not exist in the Spanish course?

Do you mean he has to speak a sentence? If yes then you may have your microphone turned off in zduolingo settings, or you might be using a different browser, Duo uses a newish API for speaking exercises and not all browsers support it.

Maybe the option is disabled by default. You can turn on the microphone in "Settings".

You might have by-accident turned off the microphone settings. If you want to turn them back here are steps to do that:

Step 1: Click on settings. Step 2: Where it says microphone, switch it from off to on. Step 3: Click "Save changes". Step 4: Then you can go back to your tree and continue with practicing on Duolingo.

Of course, it might not be the case that the microphone is turned off, then you might have to use a different kind of electronic that you have maybe......? Anyway, I hope this helped.

I use an iPhone for Duolingo Spanish and a PC for going into these forums but I am able to speak/repeat sentences in Spanish without any issues. They just ask you to repeat it and verify prounciation is correct. Nice feature :-)

No, it does not. I am learning Spanish too and I have not seen any of those in the Spanish course either.
