"Rudi haraka"

Translation:Come back quickly

June 17, 2018

It should not make a mistake if you write fast instead of quickly.

I think it's quite obvious that "Rudi haraka" means "Come back soon" or "Return soon". Colloquially, it's common, more in the US than in the UK, to say "Come back quickly" for "Come back soon". "Come back quickly", as a matter of grammatical fact, means "move quickly when you are on your way back", not "Come back soon".

Soooo many ways this could be said in English! I chose (to my sorrow) "hurry back." Next time I will know that Duolingo wants "come back quickly," but it's the SAME THING!
