Duolingo's Speakers

In Spanish Duolingo, the problems where you have to say a word or phrase out loud, it's kind of weird. Sometimes (only a few times a week) they say that I'm wrong when I know that I pronounced it correctly. Other times, when I over-exaggerate the accents or just mess around with it, they say that I'm right. Why does this happen?

It's software and it's not perfect (neither is hardware for receiving or transmitting audio, come to think of it.) When I'm trying and it keeps thinking that I'm saying it wrong, I find restarting my browser works occasionally. Or sometimes I pause a second before speaking and I find that helps.

I find the sample speech pronunciation varies across the speakers. I have to keep reminding myself that it SA Spanish not euro Spanish. Why can't we have a pure Spanish pronunciation course alongside this one. We could choose which we want and the only thing Duo would have to do differently is to provide the appropriate speaker.

The weird one is where you haven't finished speaking and it says you're correct.
