Why is their no one off lifetime payment for Duolingo pro because most people don't like installments.
Maybe even a discount for long term members who have already shown their loyalty! :-)
I also hate subscriptions. The thing about them is that there is not any ownership and that we would only be paying to use the service, continually. Similarly, if Microsoft kills ownership of licenses of Windows (or any successor to it) and replaces that with a subscription, I will (or at least may) switch to Linux.
Me too. I detest subscriptions. Bought a lifetime license for Memrise. If they can do it, Duolingo could!
I agree. I would never pay for a subscription, but I certainly would consider paying for a lifetime membership.
I always avoid software with a licensing model- sometimes going with a lesser title if it's just a pay-once model.
