I thought it said "Milch" instead of "mich." :(

English natives, please: "this dog likes me not" is correct, right?

Yes. A little old-fashioned perhaps, but perfectly correct.

Once I've met 2 dogs that didn't like me too. It was in some abandoned Russian barrack, I was lucky I went by bike.

Why "Dieser Hund" in this case?

Because (der) Hund ist a masculine Noun, which in a accusative case is written as "dieser". As a example: Dieser Hund (Maskulin), diese Katze (Feminin) und dieses Haus (Neutral). Hope I helped you!

Actually, "Dieser" is Nominative case, if it was Accusative it would be "Diesen" . It is "Dieser" because it is demostrative pronoun, as "THIS dog does not like me" (Dieser Hund mag mich nicht) instead of "The dog does not like me" (Der Hund mag mich nicht).
"This dog" is nominative because he is making the action of not liking you, "mich" is in accusative because it is receiving the dog's hurtful actions.

how come ich does not work as in : Dieser Hund mag ich nicht

you need the accusative case on the subject receiving the actions ich -> mich. Just like you wouldn't say: The dog does not like I" but "The dog does not like me"

Would "dieser hund mag nicht mich" also be correct? I though the "nicht" always comes after the verb if it is to negate it.
