I used vienes which was wrong and I understand that but it's telling me the correct answer is "Por que no vino ayer?" shouldn't it be "Por que no viniste ayer?"

vino is the answer for usted and viniste is the answer for so both should be accepted.

I put "por que tu no viniste ayer" and was counted wrong. In speaking I normally would omit the tu, but DL often seems to like it.

It’s wrong because you put tu before no.

The no comes first to make the por que, por que no
