How is the new french tree? (Version 3.0)

There are three french learners in my family, and no one as of yet has the new tree.

I was just wondering how it’s going? It’s been three months. I know that new trees can have numerous errors, have most of them been found?

And a thank you to the volunteers for putting out the tree.

So far, it is okay, but I have found some bugs in it. There's a lot more to it. I had finished my French tree and it is adding a lot to what I already knew. I'm sure you will get it sooner or later. They eventually give the updates to everyone.

I agree. Not everything is perfect, but if it was, well, that's inhumane! The tree will arrive soon, so no need to worry :)

I just finished the new french tree. While there are certainly some "bugs", they're minor. The tree has significantly more content, which I think has made a noticeable difference in getting me from an intermediate beginner to an advanced beginner/low intermediate level.

I’m glad to hear the “bugs” are minor. That means it’s going well.

If you delete your Duolingo Schools account, you will get the new tree

I’m pretty sure we don’t have duolingo schools accounts, just ordinary accounts.

I do know if we delete our accounts and get new ones we will get the new tree. But my boys love their streaks. One has almost 500 days and the other one has almost 1000 days.

Trust me, you will eventually get the new tree. I just got gifted with the new Spanish tree and it's been out a couple months in testing.

Wow, a big round of applause to your boys! I'm amazed at these streaks! How can they keep up so much practice! I applaud you for teaching your boys well! :)

In our house you have to ‘earn’ computer time. The two ways to earn time are; duolingo or chores. (You also get about 4 hours for your birthday). So if you want to play computers it is either duolingo and/or laundry, dishes, bathroom cleaning, ....

For example right now my eldest son gets 30 minutes of computer time if he completes 3 lessons. My youngest son takes longer on lessons so he gets 30 minutes for doing just two lessons.

All earned compter time goes into the same pot. So both boys are always encouraging their brother to earn more time.

The new French tree is good. There are a few errors as there are new sections and it takes some time to work out the errors, but it's good.

At the risk of asking a stupid question - how do I know which version I have? If I've counted correctly, mine has 96 skills.

Then you have the version 3.0 tree
