[DISCUSSION] Weekly Incubator Summary: 2018, Week 27.

It looks like an uneventful week for the incubator. Still no progress for Hawaiian. :(
https://incubator.duolingo.com/courses/hw/en/status now has 4 new contributors.
I don't remember seeing them around the forums, and none have added profile pics (yet), so I'm guessing that they're really into Hawaiian and like different methods including Duolingo, instead of really into Duolingo and liking different languages including Hawaiian. :)
Alright, we are going somewhere in Arabic. Now we need the rest to progress. I'm not going to be super anxious over Hawaiian since Arabic was in 0% for four (was it five?) months before it started to make any progress.
And yea, any idea why the number of learners has been stagnant for such a long time?
I heard that the "number of learners" display takes a while to update, instead of going +1 as soon as one more account signs up for a course.
Fair point, but it usually updates itself after a week or so.... this time around it is longer than expected.
It could be caused by internal Incubator changes that affect the percentage of every course.
Wait, that would mean Arabic didn't make as much progress, or none at all!
