Balance of exercise types

Recently, I spent some time using "test out" functionality. I appreciate it very much and I am very glad that it is available again. However, unfortunately I noticed one slightly worrying issue - the observable domination of translations from the language being learnt to English among the test exercises. Yesterday and today I took totally about 40 tests for Czech and French (mostly from level 2 to 3) and I had no case with the ratio of such exercises lower than 80% and in many cases it was 100%. I would prefer to have the exercises more balanced, especially since translation to English is the easiest type of exercise for me (my passing rate for the cases with 100% was significantly higher than for those closer to 80%).

What are your observations for normal lessons or practice lessons? I think we should discuss exercise types in general. Why are you only interested exercise types in tests?

I wrote about tests because they were my main activity of last several days. Out of curiosity I tried one normal lesson and I got: 4 times "write in French", twice "tap what you hear", once "chose an option" and "only" 13 "write in English". Maybe it is not perfect, but much better than what I had in tests. So either this ploblem affects especially tests, or it is a result of my bad luck. Anyway, I edited the title to make it more general.
