1000 day streak!
I am happy to be reaching the 1000 day streak . I am still learning but the streak has kept me committed while still fun . Next stop 1095 .
Congrats I just recently restarted Duolingo and this gave me a little boost just by seeing what is possible for myself if I keep at it. You deserve a lingot from me keep working hard.
Next stop 1095
As 2016 was a leap year wholly contained within your streak, three years will really be 1096.
Congratulations on your wonderful achievement!! It is always so amazing to hear from you guys with such high streaks. I wish you good luck with your next goal and hopefully, I will follow in your huge footsteps. I am in awe.. ;-0
Good job! and how is your fluency I am always curious how others are doing on duo with such high streaks. Do you get a chance to use it in everyday life?
Since the new format i am understanding it a lot more . I can read , write and speak a little . Still have a little trouble listining . They talk way to fast lol
It helped me a lot by giving the motivation to re-start learning Spanish and Russian. Now I can use both in everyday business. Travelled to both countries several times since re-starting and had a great experience with the upgraded language knowledge. Of course, you need other sources - especially when you want to communicate. For vocab building I use Clozemaster, for online tutors I found Italki as the best choice, the Duolingo podcast is great, too. ;)
Felicitaciones, Greg! Well done! I agree with Malik that you may want to do the reverse tree. There is quite a bit of new material, and I think it's an excellent course.
Congrats. The 1000 day mark is keeping me going as well.
My kids razz me because I bought a day once or twice.
i have never used one of the saves . I always do the lessons . Could tell you a few stories about that
I accidently had to use a bought day yesterday. Just too much with a sick wife to take of. Also, I wimped out to set my req. goal at only 10 for now.
I'm giving you an ignot so you'll have an extra on hand! No guilt about buying a day here or there--it is available for a reason--eg. Life Happens!! I hope your wife is feeling better. Keep going--I set my goal for 10 for a while too but always tried to get to at least 50 anyway. :-))
I'm a little less than a month behind with the same goals in mind, though I'm less concerned about 1095. In the US, any number over one thousand usually has a comma in it (e.g., 1,095), so I consider my goal to be the comma :D
Wow, that is some achievement. You should be very proud of yourself. Maybe you can now do the Spanish to English tree which is also pretty nice to improve Spanish skills.
To be honest, doing the reverse tree gets really annoying.
"I am a girl." "You are a boy." "I buy a shirt."
You get what I mean?
well done. i started adventure whith Spenish something like 3 day ago so i wanna be as good as you.
Good work, Greg! Nice to see your hard work paying off, even if it's only in lingots. :D
Congratulations! I'm truly impressed by the humans who have a 365+ days streak. That is the true definition of commitment. Hell, even a 30 days streak is impressive.
Congrats Greg! We nearly share the day of starting our streak.. ;) Wish you success!
