Tu and Tú

I've been practicing spanish for a while now and I still don't understand the difference between Tu and Tú. I was thinking that maybe the " Tu " is used as a possessive adjective and that the " Tú " was used as a pronoun or the other way around, i don't know. Can someone clarify this for me please :)

Yep, you're right. "Tu" (without the accent) is a possessive adjective.

  • Your book. Tu libro.
  • You are tall. (Tú) Eres alto.

You have it correct: Tú when a pronoun (You); Tu when possessive (Your). I just had it explained to me yesterday by a Duolingo correspondent in Guatemala:~)
