Duome.eu now has a By Original Order view on tree progress! Now you can view your tree in the original order and see where it is weak.

How does everyone always find out things like this? If people like you didn’t share things like this I would never know about anything

It is called enthusiasm.

Wow, I noticed something.

On duome, when you look at yout progress, (https://duome.eu/yourusernamehere/progress) at each skill there are lightbulb/weight/key buttons, so you can also use it to read all of the Tips&notes for that language. (Or at least, the tips&notes on the skills you reached so far)

Cool:)

To further make using Duome even nicer, I've just made the following userscript. This simply makes any username you hover your mouse over in the Duome language rankings tables behave like a clickable link, to make it way less of a hassle to get to that user's Duome page. I've really wanted this functionality since the moment I came across that site, so I thought I'd share it here for other people too. ^^

You mean it works only inside duome but not in here in forums?

Yeah, just designed to work on the language rankings pages on Duome itself. Here are some examples of the pages where it takes effect:

https://duome.eu/en/sv
https://duome.eu/en/ja
https://duome.eu/ja/en
https://duome.eu/ja

Although, I guess it might be worth making another userscript for this new idea you've given me. One thing I was already thinking about was maybe adding a Duome profile link on people's profile pages over here on Duolingo.

However, here on Duolingo, what I usually just do is go on the user's profile page and then highlight the part of my browser address bar that's different to the Duome profile and change it, like this:

https://www.duolingo.com/dogomolo
https://www.duome.eu/dogomolo

For some reason, doing this hasn't felt even close to level of tediousness required for me to feel bothered enough to stop being lazy and make a userscript for this... At least not yet anyway. :P

Scroll down and you'll see a word in black called "Progress". A bunch of grey words will appear next to it. On the farthest right, you'll see it.

I don't know if anyone can help me with this, but it says I need to do 10 additional lessons in skills that aren't purple. Does anyone know why? Has anyone else had this problem? It's very strange. I have 52 more lessons to do, and it says my total that I need is 62.

This seemes to happen to several people in various courses.
Maybe, the creator of duome.eu is very good in discovering bugs in duolingo.com.
Explanation in
https://www.duome.eu/blog

09.07.2018 · The Small Red Dot Demystified

The small red dot on the progress page simply replaces the "+x lessons missing" line for L5 skills to make it slightly less annoying/confusing.
Taking any skill to level 5 is quite an achievement in itself and I didn't want to take anything away from it, and those missing lessons can be way too frustrating at L5.
Anyway, a small red dot would be there if there are some "missing_lesons" in this particular skill in your extended profile.
Just a small reminder that you may still wish to take care of those missing lessons as soon as there's a chance to take care of them.

So, it appears to be an issue, that only can be solved by Duolingo's staff.

im not really sure of the point of by original order? The op seems to say you can now see where you are weak, but wouldn't you use the by strength option for that?

@Merkavar,
Yes, the strength is in %.
However, "sorting by 0riginal order" gives the same overview as in Duolingo's former language tree.
I am also very happy with this sorting feature. I use it a lot, both for myself and for troubleshooting.

Those links only work if you are logged in www.duolingo.com in your device's browser. I daily use this feature in the browser of my Android phone.

When you try to open some app-specific links for the first time, your phone may ask you whether or not you're willing to open these links with some app ONCE or ALWAYS. Apparently, Duolingo app cannot really handle its own website links appropriately (i.e. redirect you to some specific lesson), and if you chose to always open this kind of links with Duolingo app, you're stuck with white screens. If you're on Android, you can try Open Link With... app to have a second chance and "remap" those links to your browser :)

Duome is fantastic and I've appreciated the ongoing enhancements that have been implemented. I totally rely on it to monitor the strength of each of my skills.

One further enhancement that I'd like would be to provide, in the summary data at the top right, a count of the number of skills at each strength level (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). There is an average Strength shown, but this more detailed data would be useful.
