Modern Hebrew Resource Pack
Hi, Given the dearth of learning material for Modern Hebrew, I thought I'd share some of what I have gathered (including books). I hope it may be of use to any who wish to use them. I may update this at varying points as I develop competency in the language.
Some more websites, mostly for practicing reading/listening.
Of course, most of these I found through other people, so I am essentially passing on the info :)
Edit: Thanks for the lingots :D
I've been looking for a site with children's stories in Hebrew that use the nikud. Thank you so much! Take a lingot and an upvote!
Thanks for sharing that info! I didn't know most of them. I did forget to mention TeachMeHebrew though. The more the better
Oh my goodness!!! This link: https://agadastories.org.il/kids Is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I searched and searched and asked many people to help me find some stories in Hebrew that had both text and audio and it was like an impossible solution to solve. And here you post the link....thank you so much!! I honestly got upset when I couldn't find what I was looking for.
Thanks, the שָׁלוֹם יִשְׂרָאֵל books are old, but they are good for learning Modern Hebrew also, and there are pictures and history lessons in them. I found one in a book store then bought the other on Amazon. Maybe some libraries have them also.
