My answer, "te estoy ayudando con la comida" seems correct also. Other times it is accepted. This is confusing. If Spanish does not use this action form, someone please advise me. Thanks.
Duolingo has started treating continuous present - I am helping as the same as simple present - I help. So both are correct and can be interchanged:
I am helping...
Yes but they sometimes forget to add possible correct answers, so even though they are correct and usable, Duolingo would otherwise mark them as incorrect. They'll probably fix it eventually.
''Estoy ayudandote con la comida'' is also correct and should be accepted. I reported it.
I agree with all the comments above. This should be changed to allow other answers.
