I suppose in English it's : Both of THEM are eating (not both of THESE) Thank you!

Or "These two are eating"

Or 'They are both eating'.

I agree. It should be "them".

'Both are eating' also gives the same meaning and should be accepted.

A better English translation, as others note, is "Both of them are eating."

ये and वे are both used for "they," and "ये दोनों"/"वे दोनों" is "the two of them," "both of them." "These" doesn't work: it sounds like you're about to insult them. "Both of these what? These... pigs??"

I will add that some of the bizarre translatios do keep me on my toes... i try not to allow my knowlege of English to have total control. Some things I am sure just do not translate well. Sounds goofy as heck in English but maybe is more common expression in Hindi... any comments from the native speakers?

wrong English. Both of them are eating. How many times I have pointed out the mistakes but Duo is not correcting them.
