Why not मत? Isn't it an imperative? The complete sentence would be: give it to him, do not give it to me. Don't quite get it.
This sentences uses the contracted oblique pronoun in both parts. I know they are interchangeable but would it sound clumsy to mix the types? उसको with मुझे, or उसे with मुझको ? Do people usually have a preference?
It should be give this to him, not give it to him
