Does anyone know of any good, free sources for becoming fluent in Chinese?

If you need reading practice, try going to www.chinesereadingpractice.com I have also used Pop Up Chinese in the past too.

Check out the hellochinese app. It's recommended the most, especially for begginers.

I had this overview bookmarked: Chinese Learning Resources

A duolingo user also made a useful post: Teach Yourself Mandarin Blog

@PatSchiebz226 is right, moving this to the Chinese sub-forum might get you more responses.

I haven't been studying Chinese on this app, but maybe you could try out LingoDeer. www.memrise.com also has a Chinese course.

Most people on Duolingo don’t learn Chinese, move this to the Chinese section.
