I spoke to a Russian over the phone in Russian for the first time
Thanks Russian Duolingo Team. :)
Id die at the phone. on phone I cant even talk well in my fluent languages, one im just learning would instantly kill me ._.
You are my new idol now. °u°
As your new idol, I demand lingots! It's... For the greater good :) Yes, of course :3
Have a lingot, I can spare it :-D
I remember the first time I ever talked on Skype in Russian, with a Duo friend. We talked for about two hours, I had no idea I was actually capable of this.
Kind of on and off at first, but probably 4 years worth of study. This was more than two years ago.
It has, thanks :) I made more conversations today, and literally had a back and forth Russian conversation (in text) for several hours straight today.
We don't say "очень отлично", i think it's bad Russian. You can say "отлично", "очень хорошо", "молодец" instead. No offence. :)
It went good! I had difficulties retrieving words, but it was my first conversation and I felt competent.
Congratulations! It's so difficult to speak over the phone in a foreign language. It's why I prefer to have conversations in person or to send email)
I hope, you'll make another attempt to speak over the phone very soon. I believe in you :)
Very :) Good practice! I just need a bigger vocabulary at the moment and better listening skills
Congratulations! Very well done. I'm no further than practicing simple phrases with a colleague from work.
