  1. Tinycards
  2. Make notes on flash cards (buy from the shops)
  3. Practice those words every night before you sleep
  4. Practice one lesson more than twice
  5. Visit this website as well if you like http://www.spanishdict.com/

When you get to the point where everything is a jumble, it's time to stop moving forward. Go back and review. A lot.

For vocabulary retention, nothing beats flashcards. A lot of folks use TinyCards, many like Memrise, I prefer ANKI.

EDIT: I saw in another discussion that you just joined. Unless you have some knowledge of Spanish already, you're going way too fast. Language learning is a marathon, not a sprint. Slow and steady, a bit each day.

Welcome to Duolingo!!

Me to. I was going through the first couple lessons REALLY easily, but then I got to travel, and for some reason it felt waaay harder.

Don't worry about it. The forums are touchy and it's super easy to accidentally post something multiple times. If you notice it happening, delete your duplicates. That's about all any of us can do.

Congrats on your first discussion :)
