извините versus извини
Is there a difference, or am I over-thinking?
I came across извини on memrise after getting извините, here. I also thought it to probably be a 'noob' question, but it kept coming back, so I thought to just ask it now I came across it, once again.
"Извини" is informal, singular, "извините" is formal, can be plural(context). For example, 1)"Ты извини меня, если что." 2)"Вы извините меня? Мне нужно выйти." If you have questions- ask me, I will try to help you. P. S. For those, who are too lazy to open that link above.
Спасибо. I wasn't lazy, but thank you. I should have searched, but I didn't even think about it. Great explanation! And next time I have a question like this, I won't hesitate... ....hopefully to search before asking and not waste people's time, whoops.
No, I didn't mean you are lazy. There a lot of people, who also want to know and probably lazy. :D
Little lifehack from me :) If there is -те at the end of the Russian verb, then it is 2nd person plural or polite formal version. In reflexive verbs it will be -тесь.
