Finally found this site again after a while, but it's by Aula Virtual, and includes around 68 questions (60 multiple choice + 4 reading comp from a passage + 4 listening comp from a 3 minute audio). Took me about half an hour.

It now places me at C1.3-C1.4 (the 'highest' for the test), so I'll guesstimate that I'm around a B2 level truthfully, which seems accurate given the course materials that I am ready for at university. I'll take it again after my last class and see if I can 'earn' that C level. :-]

It told me: "Según esta prueba, su nivel de español se sitúa entre los cursos C1.1 - C1.2 de AVE Global." Those are the courses that they suggest I take. I too think they are flattering me.

That's a great level. :-] I use it as motivation so that what I see will eventually match with how I 'test'. I broke the grading scale for an entry exam at my university, so I know I'm not too far off.

Ace, I do not understand the reason for taking these tests. I have been a college grad for years. Should I take the tests for curiosity's sake? I have read that these numbers are relevant to resumes. Will it matter to the peace corps?

Have a wonderful week! Tu amiga siempre, Cat

I use them to gauge my learning so far, and to decide whether I need to up the material that I am studying, or keep trucking with what I have going on currently. These numbers are relevant for resumes, but only through in-person CEFR exams ! :-]

¡ Que tenga una buena semana, amiga !

Personally I use the DELE exams as learning goals, they help me make sure I round out my learning so I develop all the skills (writing, speaking etc) fairly evenly. They are also really hard, well I find them hard, which means they are a continual source of motivation, as it means I have to constantly study.

The test has some issues: there are at least 4 or 5 questions with 2 possible answers and it is too Spain-centric because of tenses and colloquial expressions. You could obtain a bad score because of that. Difficulty seems to be medium.
