Translation:I don't care.

August 2, 2018

jISaHbe'. (jISaHbe' ...) / jISaHbe'. (jISaHbe' ...) / qo'vam vISaHbe' / be'Homvetlh vISaHbe' / jISaHbe' (jISaHbe') ...

I haven't heard that song in decades, and yet, it popped into my head as soon as I saw this sentence. Just ignore me, I like to translate songs into other languages for fun ...

And what language is the origin one?

It's English. Mildly unintelligible English, some might say, but English nonetheless. What struck me the most about it was, the meter of the lyrics actually works in Klingon, too!

The Ramones kind of have their own sort of Klingon-like/proto-goth thing going on. :-) https://youtu.be/QveJv7V4OZI

A week or two later, it's also turning out to be an excellent mnemonic. I don't think I'll ever forget how to say "I don't care" in Klingon! XD
