News on Scottish Gaelic?

Just wondering if there's any news about Scottish Gaelic coming to Duolingo. I looked on a poll (https://www.poll-maker.com/poll1118634x71034519-46) and it looks like it's the top most wanted language. Do the developers look at those polls?

LOL, I doubt they look at user made polls because they are so easily manipulated by spammers. These is what people who want Finnish have did in the past--make a poll on some poll site and their went to Rediit or 4Chan and asked people to go and vote. It's hilarious, but you can see why they wouldn't waste their time with such polls.

Duolingo knows that people are asking for certain languages fairly regularly as they have a list of requested languages already. They also know who's applied to be contributors, and that is a major factor in which languages get added to the incubators.

I know Scottish Gaelic and I encourage anyone genuinely interested in it to go to LearnGaelic.net. The resources there are excellent and superior to anything that could be put together in the Duolingo format. Oh and it's free. All of it.

Thank you both for recommending learngaelic.net. I just tried it out and it seems quite good. I can't say it's as fun as it would be if it were on duolingo, but it gets the job done. Tha latha glè blàth ann.

I enjoy the recordings there but this course lacks refreshing, so at the level 14 I can totally forget level 3-5 material.

learngaelic.net is a good resource but doesn't have the same kind of exposure as Duolingo

Yes, very much looking forward to it. Came here looking for Gaidhlig but have only the Gaeilge option.
